Voltage, Surge Protection and Lighting Controls
All relevant electrical system parameters must be confirmed before finalizing the luminaire configuration order. Large industrial and infrastructure sites often operate on different voltage systems, and selected high mast products can be customized to align with specific project requirements.
Key electrical considerations include:
- Nominal site voltage and frequency
- Driver input range
- Surge protection strategy
- Grounding and bonding
- Control cabinet condition
- Cable length and voltage drop
- Dimming or control interface, where required
- Remote-driver configuration, where supported and appropriate
Control systems such as 0–10V, DALI, or DMX may offer benefits for particular projects, but control protocols should be selected based on actual operational needs rather than added by default.
